Hubby and I went to a bbq this weekend at his co workers house. We got to go swimming and we ate a lot. I really don’t want to see the scale next week! While we were there, Hubby’s co worker Darlene was showing us her grow lights in her garden. She was telling us the pros of these lights and how they work. I thought they were pretty neat and if I ever needed them, I am coming to her for some advice for which ones to get. She said they many different types.

My friend and I are planning on having a surprise baby shower for our friend Angie. She has no idea what were doing or even know she’s even getting a party. We contacted her husband and her mother to let her know and there both excited and heart felted that we want to do this for her. My friend and I love our friend Angie like a sister and want to see that she she’s a nice party. I found some really nice Baby Shower Favors online. I have to show my friend because I haven’t showed her yet.

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day for me. Ugh, I hate waking up early and doing things. First Matthew and I have to get the car inspected. I took it to the car wash yesterday and got it washed and waxed. I also found a cute pair of sunglasses too at the car wash. Who would have thought carwash would sell sunglasses? Then I am going with my friend to the mall to look at mens wedding bands for her soon to be husband and then we are going down the shore. I sure hope I get enough sleep tonight. I am going to be so beat!

A friend of mine that I haven’t seen in a couple months called me up today and we made plans to hang out at the mall. I haven’t been to the mall in awhile, so I am hoping to hit some really good sales while I am there. I am also looking for these rings that look like titanium wedding rings for hubby. I want to surprise him with one for our anniversary.

I think I am going to glance at Lane Bryant as well, but I really don’t need anymore clothes. My closet is full with tons of clothes. I enjoy just walking around the mall. Its good to walk around and for me and gets me out of the house.

I just found out that one of my friend’s dad is trying to open up his own business in satellite internet services. I think it’s a cool idea. I always thought about opening up my own hosting company one of these days, but I am not sure where to start with it. I really don’t know anything about hosting, but my host is a awesome host and shes got my all my hosting needs until the end of time.

Maybe down the road I will open my own hosting company, but I would really need to do a lot of research and talking to different people that do it. I would also check into some books as well.

My friend just called me crying. I thought something was wrong she really gave me a scare. Come to find out she got her dream job working in satellite communications field. That is what she went to school for and she is so happy that her hard work paid off and is able to do a job in her field. She starts in two weeks.

I told her that I would treat her to a nice steak dinner next week. I told her I was so proud of her and I only hope the best for her. She is a good friend and I hope that it works out of her.

My friend is a big football fan and since his birthday is coming up in the next month, I am thinking about getting him some NFL Apparel. I know that he can’t afford it, and this month I have some extra money, so I decided to buy him something nice. He has helped me out so many times, this is at least what I can do for him.

I used to be a big football fan when Steve Young played, but since he doesn’t play, I don’t know watch! Silly, I know, but the man is hott!

While hanging out with my friend that lives out of state, we were talking about weddings and titanium wedding bands. I told her that I really like white gold bands and I never really seen a titanium band before. She told me they are very nice and its different then white or yellow gold that I am used too. Since I have been loosing so much weight, my rings fall off and I am so afraid that I am going to loose them.

I told her I would check them out. It can’t hurt to look into it. I do plan on saving my rings, keep them in a save place. They are very special to me.

I just found out that the lady down the street is having a baby and we got invited to her baby shower. I had no idea that she was pregnant. Shes on the skinny side and I had no idea. So we decided that we are going to get her a bassinets and everyone on our block is going to fill it with a gift. I thought it was a cute idea. I think I am going to get her some blankets and a photo frame. Thats a good idea.

Hubby just told me a co worker of his is having a baby. He told me that they will probably have something for her 2 or 3 months before she is due. I don’t know the sex of the baby yet, otherwise I would go out and buy a bunch of baby clothes, but I think I will ask Hubby if she has a wish list so we can buy her what she wants and get her some really nice baby gifts.

I really like giving gifts for showers because before Hubby and I got married, I moved to IL and his church showered us with a beautiful bridal shower and I was so shocked and thankful for it, that I like to give back. To this day, I am still thankful for that!
