It’s almost New Years! Matthew and I are staying home from New years. I know so plain and boring. I haven’t been feeling very well lately. I am always tired and just not in the mood for stuff. I have a feeling its because I have been off the pill because I was not like this when I was on the pill. Thank God I am getting back on them real soon. I will problaby work on my project and munch of some food while waiting for the ball. New Years is not a big deal for me. Its another year big deal. I didn’t think that back 2001 when Matthew proposed to me on New Years, but thats a different story.

I don’t know if I mentioned this or not but Matthew got a promotion! He will be doing almost the same thing but he will be dealing with letters more then on the phone. I am so happy and proud that he got it. He wanted it and I know that he wanted to move up in the company and he sure has. Hes not sure when he starts, but probably sometime after the new year.

Matthew is on vacation this week. I am so enjoying him being home. I really miss when he is not here. We are thinking about going back to the top of the rock to take better pictures since he is off this week. Hopefully the pictures will turn out better since we are going on a clear day. I think a tripod would work too, but your not allowed to bring one. Could you see me lugging a huge tripod in the city everywhere I go? That would not be fun at all. Hopefully it will work out for the best!

We are getting ready to leave soon, but I wanted to blog really quick. What did everyone get for Christmas? I forgot to mention what I got in my other post. I got my favorite perfume that I love which is by Jean Paul Gaultier. It has such a pretty smell to it, I love it. I also got a ring and some bangles and lots of gift cards. You can never got wrong with gift cards!

Well today is Christmas. I am in much better mood today. I got alot of nice gifts from everyone. My nephew came over and he got alot of gifts! Matthew and I got him so much. I know he doesn’t understand Christmas now, he was having a blast with his choo choo. Hes so adorable, he says Hi Zia. Zia is italian for aunt. We had a nice family dinner together that was so good. Just thinking about it makes me hungry LOL

Now with Christmas done, hopefully Matthew and I can start saving. We would like to buy a house, but not in NJ somewhere outside this money eating state. I swear NJ is so $$$ for everything. Things today are so $$ I don’t know how people make it these days. Every time we save, something always comes up and its bye bye bye money. I am not gonna let that happen. I am tired of people asking for money, your not getting any!

Well, its almost Christmas. Christmas eve is tomorrow and then its Christmas. To be honest, I cant wait for the holidays to be over. I don’t mean to sound like a sour puss, because the holidays can be very depressing. Spending money that you really don’t have on gifts that you really don’t want to buy. I don’t know, I guess I am not in the holiday spirit. I am thankful for that I have a loving husband, a roof over my head and a good family. Presents aren’t nessecary but they are nice, but really in the end, there just material things.

I think we are staying home for Christmas Eve. Usually we go out, but this year we decided to stay home and relax. I love to just sit and watch tv and be lazy when I can. Matthew has his video games, and I just sit on the computer or watch tv, I am happy. What are your plans for Christmas Eve and Christmas??

Our trip was so good. We went to see the tree at Rockerfaller Plaza. There was so many people there, it was kinda of scary! The tree looks the same almost every year, but Matthew and I enjoy going to see it. Last year when we went, we seen the Top of the rock. We had no idea what that was, but we checked into it and you can go up 67 floors in rockerfaller plaza and get a great view of the New York sky line. It was so pretty. We brought the Nikon, but it was really dark when we went and some of the pictures came out blurry. I was disappointed in the photos.

I think next time we go, were gonna go during the day so that its not dark. I dont know if it will make a difference, but I wish those pictures came out better. After going there we walked around and I got tempted with my purse stands but didnt buy anything. After that we hailed a taxi and went to get something to eat and got on the train and went home. I am glad we did because it was snowing pretty hard. We had a good time!
